The highlight of any bowling club, soccer club or Skat circle is their annual trip. Usually, these clubs have been paying into the community fund for a full-year, and if the money is not enough to go to Mallorcas notorious El Arenal, the clubs choose to focus their “boozing-travels“ on a “dancing party-train” to Ostsee, Mosel or Bodensee.
The merry drinking turns the trip into an uninhibited party, with alcohol and flirting part of the program. Away from professional life and their families, these people ignore all taboos, as the mediocre soccer-playing family man meets the shy secretary and bowling hobbyist for three days of “hustle and bustle!” Meanwhile, all activities are carefully controlled by the trip organizers. “AMEROPA“ runs over 70 trains from September to November all through Germany.
